Operating Hours
What are your operating hours?
Little Rascals operates Monday to Friday from 06:00 to 18:00.
Our service options include:
- * Full Day Care: 06:00 – 18:00
- * Half Day Care: 06:00 – 14:00
- * Grade R: 06:00 – 13:30
- * Aftercare services available
Additional arrangements such as early drop-off, late collection, weekends, public holidays, and sleepover care may be available by prior arrangement.
Meals
Are meals provided?
Yes. Nutritious meals and snacks are included for all Little Rascals learners from baby classes through to Grade R and Aftercare.
Our daily meal schedule generally includes:
* Breakfast / Pap- * Morning snack
- * Lunch
- * Afternoon snacks
Fresh drinking water is available throughout the day.
Potty Training
Does my child need to be potty trained?
No. Children do not need to be potty trained before enrolling.
Our staff understand that every child develops at their own pace and will work together with parents to support toilet training in a positive and encouraging manner.
Parents are requested to provide:
- * Extra clothing
- * Nappies/pull-ups if required
- * Wet wipes and creams
What To Pack
What should my child bring to school?
Depending on your child’s age group, we recommend packing:
- * A spare set of clothing
- * Nappies and wipes (if applicable)
- * Formula or bottles for babies where required
- * A blanket for nap/rest time
- * Sunhat/cap
- * Water bottle
- Any prescribed medication with instructions
Please label all belongings clearly.
Sick Children Policy
What happens if my child is sick?
To protect the health and safety of all children and staff, sick children should remain at home when experiencing:
- * Fever
- * Vomiting
- * Diarrhoea
- * Contagious illnesses
- * Severe coughing or flu symptoms
Parents may be contacted to collect a child should they become unwell during the school day.
Medication may only be administered with written parent consent and clear instructions.
Transport
Do you offer transport services?
Yes. Little Rascals offers transport services within selected areas.
Transport options may include:
- * One-way transport
- * Two-way transport
- Collection from selected schools for aftercare learners

Aftercare
Do you offer aftercare?
Yes. We offer aftercare services for:
* Little Rascals learners- * Learners attending other schools
Our aftercare programme provides:
- * Safe supervision
- * Lunch and afternoon snacks
- * Structured afternoon routine
- * Homework assistance for learners from other schools
- * Transport collection from selected schools
Age Requirements
What age groups do you accommodate?
We cater for children from approximately
4 months to Grade R.
Our classes include:
- * Baby Tots: 4 months – 1 year
- * Jelly Tots: 1 – 2 years
- * Twinkle & Goofy Tots: 2 – 3 years
- * Tiny & Dinky Tots: 4 years
- * Teddy & Smarty Tots: 5 years
- * Grade R: 6 years
- * Rainbow Bridge Programme: 3 – 5 years
Placement is based on age, developmental readiness, and available space.
